Dated Khawzawl, the 23rd September, 2020

              An important session for briefing of newly re-constituted Village Level Task Forces (VLTF) in respect of Khawzawl Town was held on 23.09.2020 2:00 pm at Zaingen Branch YMA Hall, Khawzawl. The session was attended by two representatives each from VLTFs in Khawzawl Town, as well as members of District Level Task Force on Covid-19 (DLTF), Khawzawl District.

             Pu Zothanmawia, Deputy Commissioner & Chairperson, Khawzawl DLTF was the Chairman. Welcoming the attendees, he mentioned that in view of the recently concluded General Election to Village Councils, 2020 which resulted in election of several new Village Council members, it is necessary to conduct such briefing session so that important points and guidelines to be followed in the fight against Covid-19 may be imparted and re-iterated. This was followed by speeches on several topics as follows: 

1. Pu Lalrohlua, Additional DC, Khawzawl District: Important Legal Provisions (Acts and Rules) in the fight against Covid-19.
2. Dr. Zozikpuii, Medical Officer, Khawzawl District Hospital: Medical-related matters of importance for VLTF.
3. Pi K. Lalsiamliani, SDEO, Khawzawl: Re-opening of Schools amidst Covid-19 pandemic.
4. Pu PC Lalchunglura, Superintendent of Police, Khawzawl District: Law & Order related matters of importance for VLTF.
5. Pu H. Lalramenga, SDC, Khawzawl District: Report on handling of people returning to Khawzawl District from outside the state and responsibilities of VLTFs.

A fruitful Questions & Answers session ensued, after which Chairman thanked the members and ended the meeting.
