Department hnathawh leh hmalakna hrang hrang The main works and duties taken up by this Sub-Division are :- 1. First of all, the main power received within this District is from Saitual through 132KV Line. This main line (43KM) is maintained by this Sub-Division. Till to day all the maintenance work is performed so as to get regular power supply. In case this line fails, this Sub-Division is making alternative arrangement so as to get Power supply from Bukpui Sub-Station via E. Lungdar at 33KV Level. The main line (132KV Line about 57KM) between E. Lungdar and Khawzawl is also maintained by this Sub-Division. 2. Power distribution at 33KV level, namely – Khawzawl-Rabung (27KM) and Khawzawl-Sialhawk (36KM) are also maintained by this Sub-Division. 3. Besides this, 132KV Sub-Station Khawzawl and 4 Nos. of Sub-Station by making de of duties for 24 hrs. in respect of all these Sub-Stations. 4. Within this Sub-Division, there are about 71 distribution Transformer which are maintained and operated by field workers. Within Khawzawl District, there are around 7000 consumers and all household are electrified and 100% metered. |
